Quality of Life
Inadequate asthma control can have a substantial effect on the patient’s quality of life (QoL), including physical, emotional, occupational, and social impacts. Patients with asthma should be able to participate in work, school, play, and sports without limitation due to difficulty breathing.
Several tools can be used to assess the impact of asthma on patients' quality of life more objectively. However, these copyrighted questionnaires are not readily available and require permission to use:
- Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (AQLQ)
- Mini Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (MiniAQLQ)
- Paediatric Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (PAQLQ)
